I didn't find the game that fun (I found the Knuckles demo even less so), but you ARE right about how hard it is to get an award on NG nowadays. My first demo (read UNFINISHED GAME! BARELY ANY GAMEPLAY) was on the Top 50 for weeks, and now three years later I'm making games professionally and I'm lucky to get the 3rd place and more than 15,000 views, while a sprite movie released the same day hits the Top 50.
In general, animations seem to do sooo much better than games here, and a good game takes a lot more man hours than a decent animation. I wonder why that's the case?
Oh, I'll give you a 5 and help you try to win an award. It's hard enough to do as it is.

thanks for seeing it my way. I used to view NG differently, as a place that I could have a chance, not that it's anyones fault. I just wish that games weren't so underrated. Thanks for the help!

That 8 second sound loop got really annoying really fast, though.
Kinda reminded me of Super Dodgeball for the arcades.

I really don't understand why this is supposed to be the "coolest flash game ever!!!" Is it just because you met Tom at GDC? :D
Maybe I'm getting too cynical with these flash games, but this just fels like a SLOOOOOOOW mix of Dig Dug and Mr. Driller, without the hectic pace of either of them.

I have a real hard time believing you never played that Crash game, as this is practically identical, except with a kitty and booby traps, not a bike and some crazy anime students. (I don't doubt you coded it yourself, though). The other one was still more impressive, though, and was more interactive also.
....man, I really hate Yeti games for starting the trend of these "click, wait 30 seconds and see how you did" games.

I really respect you as a musician and I loved Spin, but this was a really awful animation. There was nothing remotely interesting or humorous in the whole thing. You tried to match the show and the dance too closely, and thus completely failed at making it worth watching.
It probably didn't help that I was expecting some twist or exagerration or making fun of the show or the dance throughout, but if I had known exactly what this was before watching I would have never have touched it. I'm really surprised so many people seem to have enjoyed it, actually.
Go back to making quality stylistic animations and stay away from this capitalization of popular media. You're not cut out for it.

Why would I change the show and the dance? That was the whole point, to bring them together and make them accurate, that's what was funny about it.

This isn't irony, you literary dunces. This is foreshadowing.
Irony:
Incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs. I.E.: Goody two shoes boy shoots up a school.
Foreshadowing:
Making a movie about shooting people, torching a police car, and killing yourself, and then five months later, managing 2 out of 3, only managing to steal the police car..

...I played it all the way through, even though there wasn't really a whole lot to do. I think I scored pretty well also. I don't think the clown or racing games are rigged, unless it's rigged so I can win, since I won them every time. (the clown follows the same pattern each time, it's not even random. it's right, left, fake move, mid, right, wait, repeat, over and over. it's always the one on the right at the end). It was a fun and charming game to kill 20 mins with, though I didn't feel amazed by it or anything.
