Meh.

This is basically just a poorly done remake of the Wario Ware minigame, as stated earlier.

The main thing I don't like, really, is that the collision testing is way too unforgiving. I barely touched the underside of a platform with the back half of my airplane (which I shouldn't have to pay attention to anyway, people can only focus on one point at a time, and for this game that's the front of the plane) and it ended my game without mercy.

I also didn't really like how slow it went, or how little spacing there was between platforms (you should give it levels where the gap between platforms steadily shrinks, but starts pretty large, like in Wario Ware).

If those were fixed I would like it a lot better, but as it is all I have to do is turn on my GBA to get a better experience.

Very clever game.

Reminds me of when I read the magazine Highlights to play these puzzles when I was a kid. I really enjoyed playing this game. My only complaint, really, is that the levels stay the same, so it doesn't have much replay value.

Good job. Wish I had thought of it.

Not very good.

It took me a lot longer than it should to figure out what to do in the game because the bins of bombs and ice cream were just a simple shape of a slightly lighter color that didn't represent anything intuitive. After that it was just a matter of clicking the right choice out of four, and wasn't even a challenge any more.

I liked Investigator a lot more than this game.

I liked it.

For the most part it was a good game, and I played it all the way through, but there are some areas you could improve.

The levels were a little long, with very little variety in the gameplay. Move right until you see a projectile guy, hold space for a second, press right again. It only really changed in the second level, where you occasionally had to hit up. A little too repetitive and not very challenging.

The bosses would have been hell to evade (since the controls are kinda stiff - you can only do one action or another at a time) if I didn't realize you could move over to where they were standing and not get hit by anything, removing that challenge. Jumping took too long to use and wasn't useful anyway, not even at the boss. Biting wasn't very useful either since by the juice attack was so much more effective at mass destruction. I also thought it was kind of lame that the first two levels had bosses and the last level didn't, nevermind the third level adding nothing new to the gameplay besides some art swapping.

But it was an interesting game that I've never seen done before. It has its weaknesses, but it's kind fun nonetheless.

Thanks .. I wanted to make a boss I swear I had no ideas what to make for a 3rd level boss I sat for a day trying to think of one before the release nothing came to mind :(

Nice concept, but...

...you need to rewrite the AI a bit, because as it stands right now, all you have to do is hit that missile once, before he does, and the guy won't be able to hit it back over before it lands. It needs to be a little more accurate overall, but if the missile is on his side of the field he needs to at least double his accuracy, or else this game will remain too damn easy.

I LOVE the collision physics on the missle though. Very well done.

Excellent.

Extremely well made game. My only suggestion is that since you allow for the mouse to stop, you should also allow for the mouse to back up as well. Like if you're about to run into a swarm of rat poison and need out of there. Otherewise, good job :)

One good deed deserves another...

Just returning the favor :) The game's pretty cool...it'd be nice if it let you know when the ship is sunk as opposed to having to waste accuracy shots just making sure it wasn't a bigger ship though :) Good job, HurraFrank.

I just wanted to sigh and walk away...

...but I couldn't. My concern has nothing to do with your use of religion, my concern is of the flash itself. I read the reply you gave to someone's review of 'i wanted to do a nice interactive instead of this other junk you usually see.' See, this flash is anything but nice, and far from interactive. It shows little work at best. First, the buttons were atrocious and moved when they obviously should not have. Second, the scripture lines you posted didn't all FIT in the box you had given it, besides the fact that the text was a little too large to begin with. Third, the design is anything but pleasant. A box for text, with 5 more boxes for moods, and a few colors. I'm sorry, but you contradicted yourself by claiming that you made this to counteract the junk on this site. You submitted some junk of your own. Come back once you understand simple design concepts. Until then, please, PLEASE don't submit anything else.

jsav responds:

well you see what i ment by junk was this violence. i have been on newgrounds for only 5 days and already seen more violence in these 5 days than in 10 horror movies combined. you may think this was poorly made but i am new to flash and have only had it for 20 days. i respect your opinion but this is the best i could do for now. thank you though.

no one realizes what this really is...

Doesn't anyone realize that this is an ADVERTISEMENT for ANOTHER flash movie along with its url? Think about it.. a flash movie designed only to advertise another flash movie. I mean, the title nudity was even meant to drag people into it. The confusing 'interactivity' just kept people pressing buttons till something happened (i love how most of the buttons did nothing except move the piece selected)... And as for the people praising the graphics and sound... this style is really disguised simplicity...the minimal colors make animation very simple and make this quickie crap able to be hashed out in about three hours... just about anyone who knows how to use flash can do this stuff. But the whole advertisement thing pisses me off. Everything nosepilot does on this site seems to be an Ad. This is a movie site, not an ad sit. Stop sending this shit please.

controversy on newgrounds...

it seems like we have a lot of anti-advertisement people here at newgrounds, just as we have anti-shit people... we're almost forming political parties out of the issues, 'voting' things off the island called portal because it advertises a corporation... down with the man! personally i think that its a good thing that romp has ONE item in the newgrounds list...they ARE about the flash business after all... its not like they're advertising 'services' in a site about flash, like lockwave or zthing, they're advertising flash in a site about flash (most i've seen for you to buy on romp is their t-shirts WOOOOOO, that's soooo bad)... and they're not flooding newgrounds like zthing is either...so give romp a break... they're good and they deserve something in newgrounds...and quit shitting about the whole thing.

Veteran of the game industry, released 13 games over the past 8 years. Early support from Newgrounds convinced me to pursue a career out of making video games. Just released a new game on the iPhone called Track Lapse.
