I don't know why...

... but I found this pretty funny. I laughed pretty hard in several places. Except the ending. The ending was kinda subpar. But the rest was great. Especially Strawberry seeing Shotglass for the first time. slowly reaching towards her with his hands...*FAPFAPFAPFAPFAP*

Happy Clock Day!

biblo responds:

Heh heh heh. Thanks! :D

Nice...

I really like your drawing style, although I think this may be the 4th or 5th movie I've seen of yours that has a few of the same drawings in them (aka the one in the preview icon).

Happy Clock Day!

AubergineLock responds:

Well, almost everything in this movie is new, except for a couple of backgrounds i recycled, like the one in the preview picture. But i'm glad you liked it, thanks for the review :)

YES.

Yet another instant classic by CBM AKA SBC.

Hehe...

Cute song. The Frogbag drawing was nice too.

Happy Clock Day!

Hahaha!

That was awesome. I especially liked the part with "choose an option" psych out. I was just going for my mouse and "wait, no one gives a fuck what you think!" Completely unexpected, and hilarious.

Happy Clock Day!

Masquatto responds:

Thanks cableshaft. :] It means extra coming from you.

Eh...

...it wasn't all too great except the last couple scenes. The cat looked like it wanted to kill you (or whoever that was). The animation for ampm was pretty good too.

Happy Clock Day!

ampm responds:

Ya, it was me. Its weird. I have thrown that cat across the room, but it never leaves me side. I guess thats cause Im the one who opens it's food.

Nooo! You forgot the lego!

Hahaha, that was great. I love random humor. It ended a little too quickly though. I wanted more!

Happy Be-lated Clock Day!

ZenMicroClock responds:

hah thanks. And the only reason it ended so fast was because I wouldn't have been able to finish by the time I did. But don't worry, next year will most likely have a longer episode.

I realize I'm biased...

...heh, just look at my profile, but this isn't all that great, outside decent modeling of the tank and the modeling/animation of the Gumby inspired flash man. You were damn lucky to sneak a 5th place in on Clock Day of all days.

Only because so many morons submitted all the crappy clock movies today that your flash gets washed away into obscurity mere minutes after everyone gave their 5 for a protection point to avoid the balancing effect of being in the 50 most recently submitted movies list with a high score, just to manage to swipe an award out from under the much more deserving Renegade Clock and his awesome Broken Clocks movie.

Since you hate Clocks so much I bet you're thrilled :P. In that sense, congrats. But you didn't deserve it. Not today.

PureCarnage responds:

Ever eat oatmeal non-stop for 4 years? That's how I feel about every clock animation I have to grit through, now I don't hate 1% of the clock animations, only 99% of them, the really shitty ones w/ no effort.

I think I earned this place, and on clock day no less... that's something!

Wow...

...another great collaboration, this time much more cohesive and fluid, and much, much sadder than the others. Probably one of the saddest flash movies I've ever seen that didn't go over the top and go completely Emo and ruin it. Done very tastefully, very seriously, and very tragically, for a fantastic result.

Little known fact: About 5 or 6 years ago my Mom somehow convinced me to play the hand chimes (hand bells also) heard throughout this song for her church for a little over a year. I was the youngest person in the group by about 25 years. So I'm actually a skilled hand chime player, which will be useful... never again for the rest of my life :P. Except I got good at reading bass clef during it, but I apparently forgot because I suck at reading it now that I'm trying to learn all the cool piano arrangements I've heard over the years. Just FYI :P. My dorkometer just rose to 11, I know.

Happy Clockday!

Heh...

I actually think I enjoyed the menu animation more than the movie itself. Don't take that as a knock on your movie though, which was quite good, but as a testament to how well you made the menu animation. I didn't like the logo or the menu button design though, but the rest was great. And poor Grapes Clock! The horror...

Happy Clockday!
