Not bad.

You used a little too much trace bitmap (I know, to bring the file size down), but at least it looked like you might have actually modelled what was traced beforehand....the end result still wasn't all that pretty though :(

The use of sound was excellent, however. It gave the movie a sense of atmosphere.

Damn you.

I can't stop watching this, no matter how hard I try. It's been like, 5 times so far in the past two days now. Stop making awesome Flash movies, Zipstyke. Bastard. :)

Classic in the Making...

You keep getting better at drawing in Flash all the time. Try to sit down and finish this one, man. This should definitely hold a spot in the top 50.

And we'll have to get around to making that RPG sometime. I've been extremely busy lately though.

Radam responds:

I try.

Yeah. I do need to work on it, and god damn it, yes we need to do more co-ops.

Excellent Flash...

Well presented, you lead the viewer along to the conclusion smoothly and logically. I'm not quite certain if that would ever happen in "the real world", but it would be great if somehow we could go beyond our own apathy and laziness and (peacefully) make a stand for what we believe in, without empowering others to do whatever they wish in our stead.

Question: What song is that you have playing in the background?

LuxLucre responds:

Thanks very much! I'm happy if I can get people thinking about these things one mind at a time.
The song is Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield. It was made popular by the movie The Exorcist in the early 1970's

It's a shame you deleted over your file...

Cuz this ROCKS! But then again, you've already heard me tell you that many, many times :)

LYKE OMG!

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH!

Great ending!

And Orange sounds like Kermit. Shrapnel's voices rule :)

PEGGIES!

That was great. Laughed the whole way through. Nice animation too :)

Dude!

Shrapnel's doing flash! Yay! And your voice acting is hilarious as always, Shrap. I'm so lucky to have caught this, considering I check the Portal almost at all anymore.

GO SHRAPNEL! MAKE MORE FUNNEH MOVEES!

You can tell...

...who here doesn't know jack about programming games just by looking at these reviews. They don't understand that graphics is one of the LAST steps in programming a game. Aside from a visual aid to help debug the program and design the layout of the screen, graphics aren't an issue until the game itself works. Well, at least if it's a complicated game (which I think it's safe to assume that Pico 2 will be). So this serves its purpose, and that's why it gets such a high score from me.

What a surprise ending!

Wow, Radam, you really are kickin some ass in Flash man! I listened to a rockin N.I.L.8. song as I watched the pumpkin ball make it's way to the end and BOO! A scary little pumpkin face appears, and then it gave me candy! First a 5th Avenue, then some Ice Breakers, then a no-expense trip to Hobgoblinspookadelic (yes I did watch it three times). What a show! What an ending! Radam defines quality, people.

Radam responds:

So, you got the big prize, huh?

Thanks for the support, man. I'm glad to hear a kind word. I'd be glad to hear a critical word, too, were it more productive than, "THIS IS FAGET SHIT!!!!!111!!!"

Anyway, I'm trying to improve. Frank deserves a lot of credit on this one. He's helped me out a lot, and I'm sure it's got to be like teaching auto mechanics to your dog.

Thanks for pointing out that there's a little more to this one than the last.

And to others: if you don't like it, at least give it a 2. You know you've seen far worse.

Veteran of the game industry, released 13 games over the past 8 years. Early support from Newgrounds convinced me to pursue a career out of making video games. Just released a new game on the iPhone called Track Lapse.
